| 18 July 2011 | The Winners are as follows |
| Good evening to all the Duck Race followers. Well the race has been run and we were nearly able to do the race on the field as we had so much rain on the morning, but as luck would have it, the sun came out as predicted at 1pm and it was a glorious afternoon for the ducks to race. In the corporate race the winner was The Ship Inn of Fordingbridge, 2nd place was South Coast Construction of Fordingbridge and 3rd place was K West Solicitors Ltd of Waltham Chase. In the main race at 3pm, the first duck past the post was number 885 owned by Mr Chappell of Fordingbridge, in 2nd place was number 569 owned by Mr Wallis of Woodfalls, in 3rd place was number 1612 owned by Mrs Gailor of Minstead Lyndhurst and the lucky duck was number 554 owned by Mrs Lees of Fordingbridge. Many thanks to our sponsors William De Bowe and thank you to all the participants out there who purchased a duck. |

| 06 July 2011 | Only 10 days to go.......... |
| Hello to all the duck followers... We have just been out to the pen to see the little yellow beauties and they are getting really built up into strong ducks with only 10 days until the BIG RACE. Sales have been exceptional with only 500 left to sell, last weekend saw record numbers scrambling to get there ticket from the sellers in the town. we shall be out and about on Saturday trying to sell a few more then the rest will go on the day of the Fordingbridge Summer Festival. Now, I may just be Chief Quacker but I hear there is lots for all ages to do, with loads going on in various parts of the recreation field. Apparently there is a coconut shy, I might have ago myself if the are not stuck down. Well feeding time for the little quackers, the Corporate ducks have sold well with only 35 left so be quick if you want one. See you all on the 16th July at 10AM at Fordingbridge Recreation Ground |

| 30 May 2011 | Tickets are selling well.... |
| Hello Duck blogger followers, Well we have been busy selling ducks again this weekend so you better grab one of the Rotarians around the town over the coming weeks and buy a ticket or you may miss out on the £500 1st prize. The Chief Quacker will be down by the river on Tuesday evening carrying out an inspection of river flow, depth to anticipate the route for this year's race down the Avon. The ducks are all in fine form with wings and feet getting stronger every day so they can go at high speeds for their lucky ticket holder. Oh well, feeding time is upon us again, watch out for new reports in the coming weeks as the excitement grows. |

| 18 May 2011 | The Ducks are training hard |
| Good afternoon, I am pleased to say that the ducks are working hard to get themselves fit & ready for the 16th July 2011, this is the day that we shall let them race down the river in the recreation ground for the 3rd year running. After last years success where we managed to get all the duck tickets sold for the main race and gave away over £700.00 in prize money , we are very much hoping to do the same this year. Williams De Broe of Bournemouth are sponsoring the event and we look forward to meeting them on festival day with the other 4000 expected visitors. We will of course be holding the business duck race and have had 12 entries so far. Tickets can be purchased on line or at The perfect Gift Copany shop in Fordingbridge. We shall also be outside the Co-op over the next 6-8 weeks selling to one and all. Many thanks The Chief Quacker |
